Avec son Maître, le Pékinois est la douceur même. Il lui est très attaché, parfois c'est un vrai clown. Il est volontiers joueur. Mais, attention, sa dignité le rend parfois condescendant. Il attend de la tendresse mais aux moments propices de son choix. Il a un amour pour son maître ; jusqu'où pourrait-il aller pour avoir la première place à côté de vous... Bref, c'est un vrai chien, fidèle.
